This is a good time for my art. I am producing many new paintings, exhibiting them, and adding them to my website. I print these paintings myself as a part of my work as an artist.  Of course, the most important inspiration and skill is in making the paintings, but I also take great care and joy seeing that the prints fulfill the promise of the working image.

I am not the kind of artist to develop a style and make it the hallmark of my work. I stay aware of changing thoughts and perceptions. My art continues to grow. However, those who know me say they can always recognize my work. Perhaps they can, but, I also know I can surprise them.  Some times we surprise our selves. My work continues to change. You can see this development when you start at the beginning of this website, which started in 1999, and carefully view the paintings from the beginning all the way to the present. I always think I am getting better, but perhaps I just learn new things, grow new commitments and concerns. I'm 77 years old and still look forward to the new insights I keep developing. I look to the future to the new thing I can do and learn. To the new art I will create.
